Pierce County: Participating in Forest Health Research in the Puget Sound

February 8 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Screenshot of class flyerForests are integral to communities and ecosystems of the Puget Sound, but many factors affect their health.
Recent dieback in species such as redcedar, sword fern, and bigleaf maple have increased concern and more research is needed to monitor and understand the drivers.
Community scientists are needed to explore the factors associated with the dieback of these species. Join us at the Sehmel Park Pavilion on February 8th to learn more about ongoing forest health research and how you can participate.

We will start with a presentation and then look around outside. Dress warm and layer up.
