King County: Growing Groceries Spring Series Gardening Classes

Want to learn more about growing your own food organically throughout the year? Registration for the Spring series (4 classes) is now open. The Growing Groceries program is open to all and is ideal for gardeners who are interested in science-based home gardening. Classes are held on selected Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the Zoom platform. Topics in the Spring series include ‘Grow Kale, Broccoli, and Related Cole Crops;’ ‘Grow Tomatoes, Peppers and Other Edible Nightshades;’ ‘What Loves Heat!? Cucumbers, Squash, Beans and Melons;’ and ‘Savoring What You Sow: Roots and Herbs.’ Receive a discount when you sign up for the series. A limited number of financial fee waivers are available for individual classes.
