King County: Growing Groceries Harvest to Fall classes

The WSU Extension King County Master Gardeners Growing Groceries Team continues its online 2024 classes to help you extend your season. Topics include conserving water, managing pests, and more.
Registration for the Harvest to Fall series (4 classes on Zoom) opens on June 17th. Individual classes are $7.50 or you can save $5.00 by purchasing a series subscription for $25.00. July 17: The Dry Days of Summer. Wise watering, IPM strategies for pests and diseases, extending your harvest.
August 14: Your Bountiful Harvest. Harvesting and using tomatoes and peppers, IPM for the August garden, looking forward to when crops go to seed.
September 11: Get a jump on spring. Harvesting and curing winter squash, direct-seeding cover crops and spring edibles, caring for overwintering beneficial insects.
October 9: The Savory Subterraneans: Garlic and Onions. Varieties, planting, harvesting, and curing garlic and onions.
