The WSU Extension King County Master Gardeners are hosting Growing Groceries online classes for home gardeners. Classes will be offered in three series: Winter (open now), Spring, and Fall. The Growing Groceries program is open to all and ideal for gardeners with beginner to intermediate skills.
Classes are held on selected Wednesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the Zoom platform.
Topics for the Winter series include Vegetables A to Z, All About Backyard Berries and Small Fruits, and The Cool Season Menu: Peas, Hardy Greens, Carrots, and More.
Participants may pay for individual classes ($7.50) or the series of four classes at a discounted rate ($25). The fees help the Master Gardener Foundation support the activities of the Master Gardener Program in King County.
