Pend Orielle County: Firewise Educational Event

The class will be presented by Guy Gifford from the Department of Natural Resources. Being Firewise can mean the difference between a charred foundation where your home once stood or being the image on TV of the house still standing after a wall of fire swept through the community. Mr. Gifford is the Firewise coordinator for the Northeast region. If you are not prepared for the fire season, he will go over the necessary steps it takes to reduce wildland fire risks to your property. The class fee is $5.00.
