The Master Gardener Foundation of Washington State and all our Chapters are recognized by the IRS as 501(c)(3) tax exempt organizations.

The Operating Fund exists to give us the flexibility to direct funds where needed at any point in time. Running the Advanced Education Conference requires making early deposits to reserve facilities and equipment. The Operating Fund does that. We also direct funds to key educational events in local Chapters and rely on the operating fund to cover the day-to-day expenses of running the state foundation.

There are two ways to donate to the Operating Fund.
